Biography
Mingan is a professor of animal nutrition at the University of New England in Australia. Academically, Mingan is well-known for his work in carbohydrate chemistry and nutrition, feed enzymes, necrotic enteritis and net energy. As an industry leader, Mingan led the Australian Poultry Cooperative Research Centre as CEO for 14 years and then was appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor for External Relations at the University of New England in 2017. Mingan has published over 400 articles and supervised many students.
