English Abstract: Several changes have occurred since the first issues of the Journal 'Lecturas Educación Física y Deportes' until current time. There has been an increase in publications from authors from different countries and a decrease of those ones from Argentina. The amount of papers published in this journal according to their country of origin was quantified for this study, from January to September 2010. Results were compared with a similar study which analysed papers included between November 2008 and February 2009. Taking into account that research (and the subsequent dissemination of it) is of priority to advance in knowledge in all fields, I wonder what are the possible consequences for the field of Physical Education?
