Abstract:

We commend Shoemaker et al1 on their excellent clinical practice guideline for management of individuals with heart failure, as well as PTJ for publishing this work. As a research team with expertise in the delivery of exercise-based rehabilitation for people with heart failure, we were particularly pleased to read the evidence-based recommendations around exercise programming in this guideline document.
