Abstract: | Theatre production is a resource hungry activity. Some might say that given the environmental challenges we face that it is a frivolous activity that should be abandoned to save those precious resources for more important work. Sydney Theatre Company faced up to that challenge by setting a vision to green theatre in late 2007 and underwent a major transformation of how it produced theatre, achieving a major cultural change in the process. | Publication Type: | Conference Publication | Conference Details: | ANZAM 2018: 32nd Annual Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management Conference, Auckland, New Zealand, 4th - 7th December, 2018 | Source of Publication: | Managing the Many Faces of Sustainable Work, p. 1720-1720 | Publisher: | Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) | Place of Publication: | Brisbane, Australia | Fields of Research (FoR) 2008: | 150310 Organisation and Management Theory | Fields of Research (FoR) 2020: | 350709 Organisation and management theory | Socio-Economic Objective (SEO) 2008: | 910402 Management | Socio-Economic Objective (SEO) 2020: | 150302 Management | HERDC Category Description: | E3 Extract of Scholarly Conference Publication |
