Abstract: 本文探究中国大学生使用母语(汉语)和外语(英语)进行写作的心理过程。数据包括16名不同英语水平的中国大学生用母语和外语写作时的有声思维记录。研究结果涉及其写作前、写作过程和修改过程在使用母语和使用外语两种情况下的特点。对有关结果本文从写作技能迁移和外语水平的作用方面进行了讨论。

English Abstract: This article explores the composing processes of Chinese university students in their first language - Chinese - and their foreign language - English. The data drew on 16 students' think-aloud protocols which were analysed to identify their planning, writing and revision processes. The findings were discussed in relation to skills transfer and the role of foreign language proficiency in the transfer of composing skills.
