Abstract: Dear Sir, A response to the recent case-report ‘Progesterone for preventing pregnancy termination after initiation of medical abortion with mifepristone’ opens with the question ‘what’s the real point here?’ in the title. Perhaps the simple answer is in the title of this reply as well as in the concluding paragraph of the original case report. It is worthwhile, however, further addressing the noteworthy issues raised by the respondent.
