Biography
I am a postdoctoral research fellow dedicated to advancing the ethical and sustainable production of livestock. My research focuses on measuring affective states and personality in animals, on-farm welfare assessment and benchmarking, developing enrichments for livestock, managing animal health and optimising pastures and grazing practices for animal productivity and well-being. I enjoy both strategic and applied research, from exploring the neurophysiological drivers of animal behaviour through to collaborating with primary producers and industry partners to implement practical on-farm solutions. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to a future of animal agriculture that is rooted in compassion, innovation and sustainable practices.
