Abstract: 'Philotheca papillata' I. Telford & L.M. Copel., apparently endemic to Sherwood Nature Reserve, north-eastern New South Wales, is described as new. Notes on its distribution, habitat and conservation status are provided. The species is illustrated, its distribution mapped and some of its attributes compared with related taxa.
