Abstract: The chemical composition and structure of high moisture maize grains were investigated after drying at different temperatures and compared to sun-dried maize. The chemical composition was affected by artificial drying of high-moisture maize grain. It is thought that this may have some ramification for the nutritive value of the grain when fed to chickens.
