Abstract: 

In this paper we describe the detailed study of current analysis and design methodologies used in information systems and workflow modeling. We then outline the strengths and weaknesses of these methodologies and key issues in the enterprise wide information development. Finally, we propose a methodology for enterprise wide system development based on Ontology and a ServiceOriented Approach.
