Abstract:

Dr. Lucy Waldron resigned as Editor in Chief of the World’s Poultry Science Journal (WPSJ) in October 2020, following more than 13 years in the role. This puts Lucy among the longest serving editors of the journal. During this time, Lucy took the journal to a fully online submission system and then, more recently, oversaw the transfer of the journal from the publisher Cambridge University Press to the current publisher Taylor and Francis. During Lucy’s time as Editor, the impact factor of the journal has shown a steady increase due in large part to her dedication to the role.
