Abstract:

Within sport, the aetiology surrounding performance and injury is complex, thereby making the assessment and analysis difficult. With the current industry focus upon athlete wellbeing compounded by commercial pressure to gain a competitive edge, there is a requirement for a decision support system, which utilises sophisticated analysis techniques to examine the multifactorial relationships between training practices, performance outcomes and injury.
