Abstract: Welcome to the UNE faculty of Education, Health and professional Studies' Honouring our Tertiary Teachers Symposium. I extended this welcome to members of the Faculty, other staff from across UNE and those guests here today from beyond UNE. Do make use of the handouts provided and please fully participate in lots of interactions and the various mini-meals over the next day and a half. It is our plan to create an edited publication from some of the next presentation papers that you will engage with today and tomorrow.
