Abstract: This article provides for the first time a detailed inventory of the music theory manuscript Louise Hanson-Dyer MS. 244 in the Rare Music Special Collection of the University of Melbourne Library. The inventory identifies 40 items ranging chronologically from the only surviving copy of the early 15th-century "Ars plane musice" of Nicolaus de Aversa to a set of notes on realising harmonies on a bass from not later than the early 17th century. The content of each item is briefly summarised and accompanied by its text incipit. Concordances with other sources are identified. The manuscript's gathering structure and scribes responsible for contributing items are also indicated.
