Abstract: Education for Sustainability is gaining increasing recognition, and globalisation and mass consumerism are issues that need to be addressed within this educational concept. This article offers some background on globalisation and mass consumerism before providing teachers with a series of lessons aimed at raising their students' awareness of these issues. The lesson plans are detailed but car readily be adapted to meet differing teaching needs.
