dc.description.abstract | <p>Early Childhood Education (ECE) attracted the attention of many associations and educators. The Association for Childhood Education International, The National Association for the Education of Young Children, and Bennett (2004) offered in depth frameworks for ECE. This article examined the challenges that the preschool teachers in Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates face in adhering to ECE frameworks that advocate developmentally appropriate and innovative practices, and recommended to overcome those challenges by meeting the needs in teacher preparation programs at the university level and by providing continuous professional education.</p> | en |
