dc.description.abstractThe data submitted has been grouped according to the respective thesis chapter number. Folder Chapter 3 consists of 14 georeferenced species location data files of representing 14 terrestrial invasive alien plant species. Each file contains 3 columns: species name, longitude, and latitude. Folder Chapter 6 also contains species same data of 2 aquatic invasive alien plant species. Folder Chapter 7 contains long-term projected temperature and rainfall data (obtained from theclimatedatafactory.com) from 1950 to 2090 for two districts, Anuradhapura and Jaffna of Sri Lanka. Folder Chapter 8 contains temporal climate data of the Anuradhapura district in Sri Lanka over the period 1990-2019, obtained from the Department of Meteorology, Sri Lanka.en
