Abstract: This encyclopedia entry is an exercise in applied philosophy, with an attempt to articulate a philosophy of peace. The entry examines religious and historical-philosophical sources, as well as examining critical issues for a philosophy of peace. The entry concludes with an observation on the nature of the practice of philosophy.
