Abstract: A new, rare species of phyllodinous 'Acacia' from granitic areas of the Gibraltar Range in northern New South Wales is described on the basis of phenetic analysis. Comparison of A. 'beadleana' with other morphologically similar species, and notes on its biology and ecology are presented. Conservation status for A. 'beadleana' is proposed.
