Abstract: The 10 papers published in volume 51 of The Arts in Psychotherapy provide a snapshot of the increasing depth and breadth of contemporary creative arts therapies research.The publications in this volume reflect the best of international practice and research, further evidencing that The Arts in Psychotherapy is meeting its obligations as an international repository of inquiry about creative arts therapy. Research is reported from 8 countries including from Australia (Dunphy, Mullane,& Allen, 2016; Garrido, Schubert, & Bangert, 2016), Korea (Kim, 2016), Israel (Czamanski-Cohen & Weihs, 2016; Mosek & Gilboa, 2016), France (Stamou, Chatzoudi, Stamou, Romo, & Graziani, 2016), Hong Kong (Lee & Lui, 2016), and Spain (Barnet-Lopez, Perez-Testor, Cabedo-Sanroma, Oviedo, & Guerra-Balic, 2016). Multi-authored international papers show collaborations from Australia/USA(Edwards & Kaimal,2016), and Korea/Austria (Kim & Stegemann, 2016).
