The article evaluates the intersection of lesbianism and disability in Anne Holt's novels through a feminist disability reading of 1222 and Offline, alongside the compensation narratives offered by Hans Olav Lahlum and Jeffrey Deaver. The article argues that by mixing conventions from lesbian "coming-out" narratives and disability crime fiction, Holt's protagonist represents an intersection of "different-ness" from which she is more productive at solving crimes, but she is invalidated and ignored.en
