| dc.description.abstract | The church of San Cristóbal de Rapaz in Peru would seem to be an unlikely place to find anti-Jewish imagery. Situated in the remote high Andean village of Rapaz, located at an altitude of nearly 4,000 meters above sea level in the province of Oyón, this small village of circa 500 inhabitants lies perched in a natural terrace on a steeply sloping mountain that can still only be reached via a road that snakes its way along hairpin bends whilst hugging the precipitous mountainside. | en |
