Abstract: What was it? The FEHPS Honouring our Tertiary Teaching Symposium was planned as a two-day reflective event for: • talking about our best tertiary teaching and learning; • sharing our current pedagogical practices; and • workshopping approaches and strategies for changing aspects of our teaching. Appendix 1 'Initial symposium notice and call for involvement' and Appendix 2 'Symposium program' provide the reader with an overview of how the symposium was planned and what happened over the two days. More than thirty staff from across UNE (but primarily from the Faculty of Education, Health and Professional Studies) attended the first afternoon and about forty attended the second whole day of sessions. This publication is a documentation of the 2003 Honouring our Tertiary Teaching Symposium and an artefact for presenters, participants and others to use and share valid and valuable tertiary teaching and learning ideas.
