dc.description.abstract | Vigorous debate has always been an integral part of scholarly research. We thus welcome Graham Sansom's (2015) critique of our 2014 paper (Drew and Dollery, 2014), which found that the municipal mergers proposed by the New South Wales Independent Local Government Review Panel (ILGRP) would not improve council financial sustainability in Sydney. The former panel chair's criticism of our paper is directed at both our methodology and our empirical technique. | en |
