While children prefer to spend their leisure time in front of 'the screens' (tv, computers, smartphones, etc) rather than reading hard copies of books, this last practice still takes place in Kindergarten. Some stories considered as 'traditional', such as Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, the Sleeping Beauty among many others, are some of the preferred ones. Issues related to body esteem are usually associated just with teenagers. However, literature has suggested that these disorders may actually appear before, during childhood. The exposure of children to the pictures in traditional fairy tales can be a possible cause.en
