An overview of the previously reported four phases of the study (2005-2006), and the summary of results and group trends is presented in the following structure: 1. A profile of all participants; 2. A specific focus on the children who were available for the repeat measure; 3. A special subset of children included in the remediation program known as Efficient Movement; and, 4. A future directions section will outline potential benefits of extending the project for 2007. Suggestions include a method of testing the children who are no longer in the Junior School, but may be still at TAS; the potential for future research and broader professional links between the Health and Physical Education Sports Studies team and TAS. As such, this report outlines the profile of the students assessed using the McCarron Assessment of Neuromuscular Development (MAND). | Publication Type: | Report | Publisher: | University of New England | Place of Publication: | Armidale, Australia | Fields of Research (FoR) 2008: | 130210 Physical Education and Development Curriculum and Pedagogy 130399 Specialist Studies in Education not elsewhere classified 130105 Primary Education (excl Maori) |
