Title: | Promoting Collaborative Leadership Development | Contributor(s): | Stupans, Ieva (author) | Publication Date: | 2012 | Handle Link: | https://hdl.handle.net/1959.11/11574 | Abstract: | Leadership is one of the transferable skills associated with employability and as such may be included in a suite of graduate attributes which many universities aspire to develop within their graduates. There has been little research into learning opportunities which enhance graduates' capacity to participate in collaborative leadership. Group work, frequently cited as developing students' leadership competence, may not progress students to the stage of "leadership" irrespective of its definition. A framework of students' collaborative leadership development, which includes illustrative educational objectives, is proposed. | Publication Type: | Journal Article | Source of Publication: | Academic Exchange Quarterly, 16(1), p. 79-85 | Publisher: | Rapid Intellect Group | Place of Publication: | United States of America | ISSN: | 1096-1453 | Fields of Research (FoR) 2008: | 119999 Medical and Health Sciences not elsewhere classified | Fields of Research (FoR) 2020: | 329999 Other biomedical and clinical sciences not elsewhere classified | Socio-Economic Objective (SEO) 2008: | 929999 Health not elsewhere classified | Socio-Economic Objective (SEO) 2020: | 200201 Determinants of health | Peer Reviewed: | Yes | HERDC Category Description: | C1 Refereed Article in a Scholarly Journal | Publisher/associated links: | http://rapidintellect.com/AEQweb/spr2012.htm |
