dc.description.abstract | Studies of creativity in cross-cultural contexts suggest that culture is a factor of creativity. There are few studies of creativity in music performances, and there are even fewer studies of creativity in Korean traditional music Pansori applying a western concept of creativity. Auh and Chang (2002) found that Pansori experts of the older generation were authoritative in making comments on Pansori performances, while younger-generation Pansori experts were more open and analytical. The aims of this study were 1) to examine how Pansori experts describe creativity in Pansori performances, and 2) to investigate what criteria they use in assessing Pansori performances. | en |
