Biography
Asnakew Achaw Ayele is a pharmaceutical public health researcher with research interest that employed advanced statistical analyses, mixed methods research (MMR), qualitative study, survey, and simulated client visit. He obtained his MSc in clinical pharmacy (2018) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (2016) from University of Gondar, Ethiopia. Currently, he is doctoral candidate at University of New England, Australia. His PhD project is on ‘involvement and practice of community pharmacy professionals in the provision of maternal and child health service in Ethiopia’. Asnakew has a wide range of research experience including pharmacy practice, patient reported outcome, medication regimen complexity, health services and health systems research, global health, non-communicable disease (diabetes and hypertension) and public health (with a specific emphasis on maternal and child health). He authored and co-authored more than 25 publications in highly reputable journal. In terms of teaching experience, he has been teaching pharmacotherapy, drug information and advanced pharmaceutical care courses in the University of Gondar in Ethiopia since 2016.
