dc.description.abstract | What I want to consider in this paper focuses on the need for teaching developments to be strategic, to question whether the university's desires to adopt flexible and innovative teaching reflects the needs and expectations of the students and to simply sound a warning that we must make sure that the message isn't lost in the medium, that is that our teaching initiatives really are strategically aimed at enhancing teaching. In preparing this paper I am, I confess, simply drawing on my own experiences in two units that I teach in the School of Law. I don't have an answer to my own question; rather I pose the question and hope to find the answer in the discussion here today. | en |
