Abstract: As part of a program of research to characterise the diversity amongst 25 Australian isolates of the nematophagous fungus 'Duddingtonia flagrans', investigations into the genetic and phenotypic features of the fungus were undertaken. This thesis includes a review of the relevant literature and descriptions of four experiments conducted to investigate particular aspects of the subject area.
