Title: | Anomalous polymerisation rates of moderately hydrophilic monomer | Contributor(s): | Pryor, Joshua Owen (author); Smith, Erica (supervisor)![]() |
Publication Date: | 2025-02-14 | DOI: | 10.25952/af87-8940 | Handle Link: | https://hdl.handle.net/1959.11/64781 | Abstract/Context: | Data from two different QENS spectrometers at ANSTO (Emu and Pelican) and the Quokka SANS instrument for N-vinyl pyrrolidone and N,N-dimethylacylamide, in bulk and at different concentrations in aqueous solution. Molecular dynamics simulation data for the same materials in aquoeus solution and bulk. Data investigates the structure and dynamics of the systems to test the hypothesis of partitioning arising from the robust short-range order of liquid water resulting in theobserved anomalous polymerisation rate dependency on concentration for this class of materials. | Publication Type: | Dataset | Fields of Research (FoR) 2020: | 340307 Structure and dynamics of materials 510601 Nuclear physics 340701 Computational chemistry |
