Abstract/Context: The data set includes 5 spreadsheets referred to in the thesis as 'datasheets' and identified as Datasheets 1 -5. This data relates to Australian newspaper articles (594) and free to air news media broadcasts (98) published or aired between 2012-2019. It was collected from UNE library data bases but is otherwise publicly available material. A description of the data contained within each datasheet is is contained each datasheet. Datasheets 1, 3 and 4 are large and are published in the thesis document as a summary of fields. The complete set of data for these 3 datasheets are available in Excel. Datasheets 2 and 5 are published in the thesis.
