Abstract: Lyn Richards' Handling Qualitative Data is an easy to read and accessible research methods book. It is aimed at researchers who find themselves with data, but without the training to know what to do with it. Richards writes from the premise that most researchers have a strong practical knowledge of their profession, but lack confidence in "handling" data. This book contains useful practical guidelines and shies away from providing yet another methods text, filled with theoretical complexities.
