Abstract: 

The Al-Dawlah Al-Islamiyah fi Al-Iraq wa Al-Sham (Daesh) is usually interpreted as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or Al-Sham (ISIS or ISIL). This name was later changed to simply Islamic State (IS) to give it a global appearance.
