Abstract: Greene, Wilfred Arthur (1883-1952), judge. A man of many talents, Greene dedicated much of his life to the service of the law. Before his appointment to the Court of Appeal (1935), he chaired a number of committees dealing with company law, trade practices, and telecommunications. He was promoted to master of the rolls (1937) and to a lord of appeal in ordinary (1949).
