Abstract: Software process engineering environments (SPEEs) are expected to be flexible enough to cope with changes occurring in modem software development and provide more automated support to software process activities. ProceeD (Process engineering and Design) is an object-oriented environment to support modeling and design of processes, in particular, agile processes. ProceeD, using graphical notations and a metaphor of factory production, represents software process activities in different levels of abstraction, thus, making it easy to design software processes. It facilitates semi-automation of process design by providing a library of templates and adaptable process elements.
