TASA 2003 Conference Proceedings: New Times, New Worlds, New Ideas: Sociology Today and Tomorrow

Abstract

The Editors would like to thank the referees for the time, effort and dedication they invested in the task of evaluating and commenting upon the almost one hundred papers originally submitted for the Proceedings. Each paper was read by at least two referees, with a third brought in when differing judgements could not be reconciled. We would also like to thank the personnel of the UNE Conference Company, and particularly Sharon Gallen, for all the infrastructural support they provided for TASA 2003. We must also thank the members and Executive of The Australian Sociological Association itself, without whom there would be no Conference in the first place.
