Abstract: While music therapy is traditionally offered in clinical and health care settings, vulnerability in relation to mental health in parenting may not be easily detected or "treated" through current service provision in Ireland. This chapter reports a project, Suantrai, aimed at helping women with young children who had either successfully gained their refugee status or were currently in the asylum seeking process.
