dc.description.abstract | In the mid-1980s clinical practice in psychology became strongly aligned with Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy following the synthesising of rational emotive therapy and behaviour therapy (Benjamin et al., 2011). At the same time other areas of therapeutic practice were influenced by what came to be known as the relational turn (Mitchell, 1988, Renolds, 2007). This development occurred in multiple areas of therapy practice including in psychotherapy and therapy with children (Beebe & Lachmann, 2003). | en |
