|Title:||Proceedings of the 18th Annual Conference of the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ)||Contributor(s):||Hutchinson, PJ (editor)||Publication Date:||2005||Handle Link:||https://hdl.handle.net/1959.11/2780||Abstract:||The University of New England is Australia's oldest regional university and so it is fitting that a major theme of this year's conference is the role of small enterprise in regional development. This conference appears headed for success with generous support fromArmidale Regional Tourism, the NSW Department of State and Regional Development, the National Institute of Accountants and the Centre for Business Research at UNE. This enables the participation of four international experts who will have major inputs into the conference. The program is first rate and has been designed to meet the needs of all SEAANZ members. In addition to the regional development theme, there will be parallel paper sessions in entrepreneurship and management thereby covering the implications for the individual, the firm and the economy. The conference will be preceded by a PhD Colloquium and followed by a NSW DSARD Traveling Experts Seminar. The former will provide an opportunity for small enterprise PhD students to interact with each other and have the benefit of input from experts attending the conference. The latter will make use of the expertise available from the conference and bring it to regional centres throughout northern NSW by means of video links with UNE's Access Centres.||Publication Type:||Conference Publication||Conference Name:||18th Annual Conference of the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ), Armidale, Australia, 25th - 28th September, 2005||Conference Details:||18th Annual Conference of the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ), Armidale, Australia, 25th - 28th September, 2005||Source of Publication:||Proceedings of the 18th Annual Conference of the Small Enterprise Association of Australia and New Zealand (SEAANZ), p. xxvi-931||Publisher:||University of New England||Place of Publication:||Armidale, Australia||Field of Research (FOR):||150314 Small Business Management||HERDC Category Description:||E4 Editorship of Scholarly Conference Proceedings||Other Links:||http://www.seaanz.org/about_history.asp
