Abstract: This introduction provides an overview of operations, depth conventions, core handling, curatorial procedures, and analyses performed during International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) Expedition 352. This information will help the reader understand the basis of our shipboard observations and preliminary interpretations. It will also enable interested investigators to identify data and select samples for further study.
