Conducted at Qatar University, this case study reports on undergraduate female Arab students' use of the cell phone as a tool to enhance their English language abilities and discusses their perceptions of the educational benefits of using the cell phone video recording feature. The project was conducted over the course of 1 month as part of an academic writing course. Eight female students volunteered to participate in the research and to produce videos with their cell phones. Due to students' cultural tradition, the videos were evaluated only by the teacher and were not uploaded in me public domain. The evidence collected reveals that project-based activities were most suitable for these English as a foreign language (EFL) learners.en
