Abstract: Background: • The loss of a loved one through suicide is known to be profound and long lasting. • No consensus on whether suicide bereavement is quantitatively different, Agreement that it is qualitatively different to other forms of grief. • Existing research has identified that negotiating changed relationships within the bereaved family is a common task for those grieving a suicide.
