Abstract: Background: In a previous study, we showed that Bogong and Canobolas, two new cultivars of triticale developed at the University of New England, were superior to wheat in nutritive value for broiler chickens. Objective: The objective of the current study was to investigate the pattern of utilization of energy in Bogong and Canobolas in broiler diets with or without xylanase and phytase supplementation.
