In this paper we explore using a case study the perceptions of two categories of ERP users (power users and transactional users) in relation to the role of culture, resistance, involvement, satisfaction and acceptance of ERP. The main findings of this case study are that (a) power and transactional users of ERP have different understandings of how each variable would influence their individual adoption and acceptance of ERP and (b) ERP users have a special awareness of the role of culture in promoting individual resistance to ERP systems since the values of high level of power distance and low individualism directly or indirectly influences ERP user adoption and acceptance.en
