Abstract: A skeletal synopsis of the crowded life of this very determined and highly motivated Scot, Dr. Thomas Galloway, and someone who may well have come our way and so reaching/viewing the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, is offered initially in this still necessarily developing research attempt at his biography. Yet any meaningful treatment of his later links with Australia - and so with New England - must involve the even more painstaking and ongoing tracing of his long life and of its dedicated and strenuous professionalism. This career was one of varied service and of like activities in vastly scattered places, starting from his initial career from a very modest base in Scotland would move to impressive tasks.
