dc.description.abstract<p>Thailand has been an active participant in the movement to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions over the last two decades. It ratified the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on 28 December 1994 and the Kyoto Protocol on 28 August 2002.<sup>1</sup> ‘As a Non-Annex I country, Thailand promotes the implementation of the Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM) under the Kyoto Protocol in order to encourage GHG limitation and reduction in the country, as well as to promote the sustainable development business in developing countries.’<sup>2</sup></p>en
