dc.description.abstract | Walter Roth was appointed in 1894 as the doctor in the hospitals in Boulia and Cloncurry and immediately engaged in studying the behaviour and habits of the Aboriginal people who lived there. This is the country of Kalkadoon, Yellunga (the modem descendants call themselves Yulluna: TomSullivan, perscomm),Undekerebina and Pitta-Pitta people and others.
