Abstract: One of the greatest challenges Mongolia faces now and into the future is the responsible use and sustainable management of its rangeland resources, in particular with changing circumstances from climate change. Effective environmental law and policy can ensure that a balance is maintained between economic development and environmental protection, particularly given the high dependence of people's livelihoods on rangeland natural resources.
